1998 (18/06/98) Toyota Landcruiser Colorado GX (UK) LWB manual 3.0 Turbo Diesel for sale. spent while looking for nice, reliable and clean car with lift kit and oversized wheels, that was totally HPI clear.Having only bought the car last September (I am the 6th owner, previous owners were the same family from Dunoon) in 2018 as winter toy, you will be aware, winter didn't happen! Only selling as already have other cars, and this just doesn't get the use it deserves anymore.The car is has just had fresh 12 months MOT- no advisories. Big service just completed at 'Kenneth Brown Motor Engineers' three months ago, using genuine parts, and the engine fully flushed. Front steering rack sorted also to prevent any rubbing with the oversized wheels.I have also had brand new Fuel Tank with all ancilliaries/ straps/ sensors fitted using parts from offroad specialists 'Milner Off Road', as the old tank was showing slight drips on my driveway. This was cost of over ??500 to supply and fit. Perfect now. The car is on 159k miles, which is nothing for one of these legendary KZJ95 engines. It drives faultlessly. Also as you will notice, have just put 4x brand new tyres on less than 300 miles ago, at cost of over ??700. These are remarkably quiet believe it or not, they must be softer compound rubber. The previous tyres were just too noisy.The previous owner has had the underside poly bushed, no corrosion, just very very clean big truck. The clutch, gearbox and diff all work perfectly, engaging all how they should with no nasty noises etc.The only things which have never really bothered me to note, is that both driver and driver side back passenger windows do not work. The gentleman that previously owned the truck, advised me of this but it has never been an issue for me. Requires two window motors if you were keen on fixing this. The other two windows work perfectly. AC could do with re-gas, and Stereo doesn't seem to work.The car has two keys, some scuffs and wee bumps here and there on the bodywork, not show car, but nothing serious for 21 year old Landcruiser. Personally, quite like the rugged look. As you can see though, the outside does clean up well.It has two brand new front heavy duty seat covers, steering wheel cover, and extended gearshift. The car has NEVER been used offroad, the underside and drive is far too clean to have been used for that. I'd imagine if you did want to do bit of green laning/ off roading, it would do an immense job!No daft offers, part exchanges or tyre kickers, know the value of these awesome trucks. The car is 21 years old, but works exactly as it is supposed to, and looks amazing!Insurance for myself through Adrian Flux is only ??155 year, as this is UK model/ classic insurance, not lesser import model! Note: Timing belt not due until another 20k miles, however had purchased belt, pump, tensioner etc from Milner, so will be supplied in box with truck.
